"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."
(1 Corinthians 12:27)
Being part of a community is important to the well-being of believers for encouragement, support, accountability and growth.
At the IEC there are many ways to connect to other believers from all walks of life. We meet together in community groups, men’s and women’s retreats, Bible studies, prayer groups, informal outings and other fellowship gatherings.
Community groups come together each week in homes and offices around the capital area. Together we want to grow in our faith by studying the Bible, praying, singing and caring for one another.
One particularly relevant area for our church is the kids ministry. Raising the next generation is one of the greatest privileges and responsibilities we’re given.
We gather to study the Bible together every week. This spring pastor Timo Keskitalo leads us through the Gospel of John. Bible study for parents & toddlers lead by Vida Kessey is held Wednesday mornings.
If you are newly arrived in Finland we also invite you to connect to others by registering for a Finnish language course offered at the IEC center. Courses are open to all.
IEC organizes several events throughout the year. Pick up your choice from retreats for men and women, kids camps, date nights, and the popular midsummer retreat.
