Statement of belief for the IEC The International Evangelical Church in Finland believes together with the Christian Church the faith expressed in the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed . - We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. Therefore we seek to preach and teach faithfully the word of God.
- We believe that God loves all people and desires them to come into His salvation.
- We believe that all people are inherently sinful and need to receive forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God. Therefore we believe that proclaiming the gospel to all nations is the essential mission given to the Christian Church.
- We believe that forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God are only possible on the basis of Christ's sacrificial death on the cross, and that this becomes effective in a person's life through repentance and personal faith.
